Cutting out rotations is an integral part of being good at Ortega on 2x2x2. This can be achieved by learning how to do PBL algorithms from multiple angles.
Knowing this complete set, you will be able to build a first face with a solved 1x1x2 bar on any side, and in the majority of cases, you complete the solve without any rotations that are not part of an alg. Not only are you cutting out rotations, but you are also giving yourself a lot of flexibility as to how you execute your first face also!
